Application of p-chloro-m-xylenol

1. Application fields of p-chloro-m-xylenol:

① In order to avoid cross infection, PCMX can be used to produce medical antibacterial soap, foot fungicide and general emergency supplies. PCMX can also be used as preservative in other medicines.

② P-chloro-m-xylenol can be used for household and daily sterilization

Fungicides and insecticides for skin wounds (liquids, creams and lotions); common disinfectants and washing disinfectants; germicidal soaps and personal hygiene hand sanitizers; shampoos (especially products with anti dandruff function).

③ P-chloro-m-xylenol can be used in industrial products

Coating surface: p-chloro-m-xylenol is added in the coating as fungicide, p-chloro-m-xylenol is suitable for wet environment; glue and adhesive: prevent microbial decomposition, avoid peculiar smell, block filter and corrode metal, prevent product failure; leather treatment: prevent mildew, resist the attack of bacteria and fungi. Textile finishing and post-treatment: pre impregnation of fibers.

3. Usage of p-chloro-m-xylenol: add PCMX to the solution of alcohol, benzene and ether, and then mix with other materials. Some nonionic or anionic surfactants can completely dissolve PCMX and do not produce conjugates.
